In the beginning, I wrote novels (still do), and then I decided to branch out and write manga. I hired several illustrators (having no artistic talent myself) and released several different manga projects. That is when I started to run into trouble. First it began with the manga ‘Hard and Fast’ – this was taken down/reported numerous times despite being behind a NSFW filter and being heavily censored, at one point it was taken down for the cover alone.
 

And then some of my other content was taken down for the most ridiculous things.  It got to the point where I honestly had no idea what I could upload, and I had no idea what might be taken down next. It seemed that the only content that is safe on these sites, is content that is suitable for toddlers, with nothing even slightly questionable, in any way shape or form. No blood, no strong themes, nothing even lewd. Nothing. Nothing AT ALL.
 

In my novels I can write literally whatever I want and have never had any trouble, but with manga its completely different, and I don’t understand why. I understand why certain things need to be managed and some content needs to be censored, but I don’t understand why things are the way they are - without getting into detail as this would take too long. But rules and content policy have become too strict and too sensitive (especially towards sexual content) it has come to the point (in my opinion anyway) that these rules and policies are killing creative freedom.
 

When I received an email telling me more of my work was taken down, that is when I had enough.

There is no freedom anymore.
 

I said to myself, ‘fuck it, I will do it myself’, and so, I decided to create my own website.

Having no real skill in website building, I decided to seek help from a professional, who did most of the work in actually creating the site. 
It's been a long road, and the site has come a long way since the beginning. 
I hope this site offers something for you, and that you enjoy using it.

EDIT/UPDATE* 

4 years in the making from the beginning, to the point I consider this site 'ready' (2019-2022) a lot of work, time, money, stress and confusion (various website designers) and the site is at a place I am very happy with.

Still a lot of work to do, but now I consider this site fully functional - Lady Phantom, November 2022
